Hello, my name is Kimberly Deleon and I am an insurance agent based out of OKC. I am the oldest daughter of Carlos and Berly DeLeon and am blessed to have a little sister, Briana. I was born and raised in Oklahoma and my parents are from Guatemala. Interesting fact about me: My first language is Spanish. I recall when I was first learning English and just how difficult it was for me to comprehend, but fast forward to today when I am thankful to know two languages and comprehend them both fully. Who am I? Why did I get into insurance? I started my insurance career with Farmers Insurance as a claims customer service representative dealing with property and casualty cases. I choose to stay in the insurance industry because I get to play a part in some of my clients’ best and worst moments. As the oldest child in my family, I have always had a role in maintaining stability for everyone around me and am well prepared for doing the same in my professional life. I pride myself on always being there for my mother for any and everything she needs and am always thinking about my actions and setting an example for my little sister who learns from seeing the type of person that I am. I walk through life knowing that anything can change in seconds and the only thing we can do is prepare ourselves for when those times come. When I am not working you can find me with my dog, Teddy, taking long walks or finding a new spot to eat with my significant other, Robin. Oh yeah, if that wasn’t enough, when I am not with them you will find me somewhere behind a camera! I admire art in all its ways, shapes, and forms. The way I contribute to art in the world is through photography because, as you may have heard, “a picture is worth 1000 words”.
